  放眼全球,没有哪一家运营商能像中国移动这样,不仅拥有全球最大的移动网络,拥有全球最多的移动用户,而且连续多年业绩增长不菲。

  中国移动2006年中期财报显示,上半年中国移动的营运收入高达人民币1369.79亿元,比上年同期增长19.6%。

  The2006midyearfinancial statement shows that the operational income of China Mobile reached 136.979 billion Yuan, an increase of 19.6% compared to the same period last year.

  9月14日,由世界品牌实验室编制、《蒙代尔》杂志中文版发布的2006年度《亚洲品牌500强》排行榜揭晓,中国移动名列第三。这是世界品牌实验室第一次对亚洲品牌进行评估,共有16个国家和地区的500个品牌入选。在中国入选的174个品牌中,中国移动通信高居首位。

  OnSeptember14th,the Chinese version of the “Mundell” magazine, prepared by the world brand laboratory, published the “top 500 Asian brands” list for 2006, and it ranked China Mobile third. This is the first time that the world brand laboratory evaluated Asian brands, and 500 brands from 16 countries were selected. Out of the 174 Chinese brands selected, China Mobile ranked first.

  据了解,今年中国移动通信的品牌价值得到国际知名评估机构的多次认可。4月,在《金融时报》发布的“全球最强势100品牌”排名中,中国移动通信以品牌价值392亿美元高居第四名,在全球电信品牌中排名第一,也是中国企业首次入选前十名;5月,中国移动通信入选世界品牌实验室编制的《世界品牌500强》;6月,美国《商业周刊》发布的2006全球信息技术百强排名中,中国移动通信的排名从第17位跃升至第8位;8月,美国《商业周刊》发布的“中国最佳20品牌”排行榜上,中国移动通信以355.1亿美元的品牌价值名列榜首。

  ChinaMobile’sbrandvalue has been recognized many times during this year by various international renowned evaluation institutions. In April, the “Financial Times”, in their “top 100 brand in the world” list, ranked China Mobile fourth overall with a brand value of 39.2 billion dollars, which is also the highest among all telecommunication brands in the world. It was also the first time that any Chinese brand has broke into the top ten. In May, China Mobile was ranked by the “top 500 world brand” prepared by the world brand laboratory. In June, in the top 100 information technological firms ranking published by “Business Weekly” in the U.S., China Mobile’s ranking jumped from 17 to 8, and in August, in the “20 best brands in China” list published by “Business Weekly” in the U.S., China Mobile ranked number one in brand value at 35.51 billion dollar.

  Withthisgoalin mind, China Mobile, in addition to its current text message, ring tone, and wireless music service, has introduced more practical services to its users, such as cell phone map, cell phone barcode service, cell phone television, “cell phone email” and “blackberry”. Compared with the rest of the industry, the advantage of these services lies in their superior technologies.

  “手机地图”通过手机终端展现给用户友好的图形界面,并且通过这个界面可以实现与地图相关的多种位置业务应用(如定位自己、城市搜索、行车探路等),同时用户还可以进行各项功能的操作。该业务目前已在北京、天津、辽宁、湖北4省市试用。

  “Cellphonemap”will use the cell phone terminal to provide users with friendly visual interface, and the interface could be used to realize various position applications relate to mapping (such as position oneself, city search and driving directions). The users will be allowed to operate the various functions. Currently the service has been on a trial run in Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning and Hubei.

  “手机条码业务”作为新推出的数据业务,其名称来源于二维码技术标准。借助“手机条码业务”,使用者可以用手机拍下二维条码,通过手机中内置的解码软件就可以解析出条码所包含的各项信息或者获得产品电子优惠券、电影票等。据悉,深圳“全球通演出季”二维条码电子票、长沙麦当劳二维条码折扣券和上海二维条码电子电影票等都是基于手机二维条码业务的应用。专家预计,该业务在移动增值服务、电子商务、物流、商品流通、身份认证、安防、防伪、广告宣传及促销信息发布等方面的应用前景十分广阔。

  “Cellphonebarcodeservice” is a new data service promoted by China Mobile, whose name comes from two dimensional coding standards. With “cell phone barcode service”, users could use their cell phones to take a picture of the two dimensional barcode, then use the decoding software embedded in the cell phone to analyze the various information in the barcode or obtain product’s electronic coupons or move tickets. Shenzhen’s “global communication performance” two dimensional barcode e-ticket, Changsha McDonald’s two dimensional barcode coupon, and Shanghai’s two dimensional electronic movie tickets are some of the applications based on cell phone’s two dimensional barcode services. Experts predict that this service has great application prospects in areas such as mobile value-added services, e-commerce, logistics, security, authentication, advertising promotion and promotional information release.

  手机电视是中国移动在今年世界杯开幕的前一天牵手上海文广新闻传媒集团合作开播的世界杯手机电视节目,主要在广东、上海和福建试用,这3个地区的中国移动用户可以通过MO手机上网的方式实现直接在线观看,其他省份的中国移动用户也可以通过下载方式收看到精彩的赛事片段。

  Cellphonetelevisionis a world cup cell phone television program launched jointly by China Mobile and Shanghai Media Group on the day before the opening ceremony of this year’s world cup. The program was put into trial run in Guangdong, Shanghai and Fujian, and the China Mobile users of these three regions could go online with their MO cell phone to directly watch the programs online. China Mobile users in other provinces were also able to watch the game highlights through downloading.

  手机邮箱和Blackberry业务是中国移动于今年5·17世界电信日期间全国范围内面向集团客户市场推出的业务。两项业务均属加密邮件推送业务,电子邮件到达集团客户邮件服务器后,经移动网络设备连接把邮件推送给手机客户,使其随时随地接收、回复、转发和撰写电子邮件。此外,还可支持附件按需压缩下载、多账户使用和邮件过滤功能。

  Cellphoneemailand blackberry services are nationwide services introduced by China Mobile toward the group client market on May 17th, the world telecommunication day, of this year. These two services are encrypted mail delivery services, which means that after the email reaches the email server of the group clients, it will be connected by mobile network equipments to deliver the mail to cell phone users in order for them to promptly receive, reply, forward and write emails. Also, the services support the compression downloading of attached files, multiple accounts and email filtering functions.

  目前中国移动正在加快手机搜索、手机即时通信、手机博客等新业务的研发与推广,总裁王建宙表示:“中国移动将积极探索,努力推广一些更新的业务,以促进公司的全面转型。”

  CurrentlyChinaMobileis accelerating the pace of the research, development and promotion of new services such as cell phone search, cell phone real time communication and cell phone blog.   2006年中国移动中期财报显示,中国移动增值业务方面的收入已达人民币309.26亿元,比上年同期增长37.1%,占营运收入的比例高达22.6%。“这个比例在世界上是十分少见的。”总裁王建宙在面对媒体时自豪地表示。

  在服务和谐社会方面,中国移动最为突出的表现是在实施村通工程的建设方面。数据显示,到2005年年底,积极承担信息产业部部署的全国村通电话工程的中国移动已累计在村通工程上投资近90亿元,帮助25862个行政村结束了不通电话的历史,为我国行政村村通率的提高贡献了3.7个百分点,取得了令人鼓舞的丰硕成果。

In recent days, “China Mobile Rural Information Network”, which could potentially increase the income of the 800 million peasants around the country and promote the building of new countryside, was officially launched in Chongqing. With the development of rural projects, China Mobile wishes to use its advantages in network and channels in order to abolish the digital inconveniences experienced by the peasants; China Mobile believes that it is obligated to participate in the project as a nationally owned major enterprise, and it will strive to contribute to the building of a harmonious society.
