微软澄清Vista不存在死亡黑屏

　　澳大利亚PC World发布了据说是来自微软代表分发给Vista OEM的邮件，邮件中称运行盗版Vista会出现屏幕全黑而不可用的状况。从而，让人们联想到微软对盗版用户下了"黑"手。但是，很快微软澄清说这种说法并不准确，微软并未增强盗版打击力度。

　　这封邮件的标题很夸张： "Pirated Vista - A darkness descends" ，原文如下：

　　Good Afternoon, As of this week, Microsoft have activated a function in Vista called 'Reduced Functionality'. This is a specific function in Vista which effectively disables non genuine copies of Windows. Therefore, anyone who has a pirated copy of Vista will experience:

　　A black screen after 1 hour of browsing

　　No start menu or task bar

　　No desktop

　　Please communicate this anti-piracy initiative from Microsoft to your resellers - note this function has only just been activated in Vista worldwide and therefore any issues with non genuine versions will start to arise from now onwards. (wired.com)

　　微软早在今年3月就发布了有关Vista缩减模式的说明：Windows Vista 中的缩减功能模式的行为，详细描述了正版及盗版Vista进入缩减模式后的不同表现。其中的确提到了用户可以运行Vista一个小时的说法，但并未提及黑屏一事。有意思的是，有人将黑屏一事做成了Flash演示，有兴趣的可以自己试试看。
