据国外媒体报道，在5月份的“Future of the Server Room Tour 07”巡回展上微软有意让Longhorn Beta 3和公众见面。“Future of the Server Room Tour 07”巡回展是微软为加拿大IT从业人士准备的一场盛会，参加人士将有机会一览众多最新前沿技术，其中也包括微软的新一代服务器操作系统-"Longhorn" 。
“Future of the Server Room Tour 07”巡回展一共包括5站，其间参与人士将有机会领略“Longhorn”的风采。
-May 8, 2007: Ottawa
-May 10, 2007: Montreal
-May 15, 2007: Calgary
-May 17, 2007: Vancouver
-May 30, 2007: Toronto
由此看来，微软为Longhorn Beta 3的发布日期底线将是5月8日的Ottawa站，预计Connect beta测试人员和MSDN/TechNet用户也可在大概同一时间拿到测试版本。
