陈伟锭写博告别英特尔：去做以前没机会做的事

　　新浪科技讯 1月14日消息，即将于3月31日正式离任的英特尔企业事务部全球副总裁兼英特尔中国大区总裁陈伟锭今日撰写博客向英特尔公司告别，其在博客中称，他将“歇口气，充充电”，然后去“做些这些年都没机会做的事”。

　　在这篇发表于英特尔官方网站的博客中，陈伟锭写道，“英特尔中国正处在一个很好的状态，可能比以往任何时候都要好”，而他“也只是想交上一张好的成绩单，然后静静离开”，“歇口气，充充电”，然后去“做些这些年都没机会做的事”。

　　陈伟锭为英特尔服务了18年，其中12年在中国。

　　尽管现任英特尔销售与市场营销部全球副总裁兼英特尔中国大区总经理的杨叙后来执掌了英特尔在中国最为核心的销售与市场的大权，分管公司法律、公司形象、教育事业的陈伟锭略显落寞，但其对英特尔之前在中国的发展及长远布局的贡献是不可忽视的，这点从他比杨叙还高的头衔“英特尔中国大区总裁”就可见一斑。

　　寄语英特尔，写在离开公司之际

　　朋友们，

　　英特尔中国正处在一个很好的状态，可能比以往任何时候都要好 – 如果我们允许自己为成绩享受一些荣誉的话。但谦虚谨慎是一种美德，所以我在做出离开英特尔的决定时，我也只是想交上一张好的成绩单，然后静静离开，让我的那些能力卓越有才华的同事们继续把英特尔中国引向它的愿景 – “做中国首屈一指的技术公司 – 成功，诚信，与中国息息相关。”

　　现在英特尔中国拥有一个具有广泛才能，非常本土化的管理团队。这样的团队可以胜任新的任务和挑战。我想腾出舞台加速新人的成长，建立一个管理架构让他们在英特尔中国执行委员会和高级管理层里有更多的参与。这样的机制无疑会有助于英特尔中国的长期发展。

　　我在英特尔中国的使命可以告一段落了。我对能有机会和业界最优秀的人们一起工作，而且在过程中培养起手足之情感到特别高兴。这些年英特尔中国写下了一段引人入胜的故事，里面充满了不寻常的建树和意义深远的里程碑，很显然这个故事还在继续。

　　对我而言做出离开的决定很困难。在英特尔中国这些年我从来没有过一段乏味的时间，总能体会到自豪感和使命感。英特尔中国对于我有特殊的意义，在这里的这段经历非常神奇。就像每个公司一样，英特尔中国之路有时平坦有时充满坎坷，对于每个像我一样对公司有很深的感情寄托人来说，如果公司正在面临挑战我们肯定是埋头工作，一个一个把这些问题和障碍解决掉。

　　不过，我在2007年底时看来，英特尔中国状态很好。这才做出决定离开公司，歇口气，充充电 – 做些这些年都没机会做的事。英特尔中国现在声誉很好；业务运行在好的轨迹之上，着眼于长期可持续性的战略举措已投入实施，公司正在向着实现它的愿景 – “做中国首屈一指的技术公司” – 一步步的前进。

　　FAREWELL BLOG ARTICLE ON LEAVING INTEL – JAN 2008

　　My friends,

　　Intel China is in very good shape, perhaps better than ever and more so than we sometimes credit ourselves for. But humility is a good thing, even my decision to leave Intel, where I merely wanted to be quietly “finishing well”, and then have my very able & talented colleagues carry on our charter and vision to be the “No.1 Technology Company in China – successful, trusted, relevant to China.”

　　We have a China Management Team in place which I believe is scalable with abundance of talents including indigenous management talents, ready to take on new accountability and challenges. My making way will accelerate this even more with new appointments and by institutionalizing a Management Structure that allows for greater management participation at both the China Executive and Senior management levels. This will evolve a process that allows for sustainability and long term success for Intel in China.

　　My mission is completed at Intel in China, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have worked and be associated with the best in the industry. The Intel China Story is massive – filled with tremendous accomplishments and significant milestones and clearly more to come.

　　Leaving Intel is a very difficult decision for me. There has never been a dull moment in all my assignments and always the tremendous feeling of pride and purpose in our every initiative. Intel in China has been particularly special for me. It has been an unbelievable ride. We had smooth times and challenges here in Intel China, as every company do. But as someone with deep emotional investments in this company I would have definitely stuck it out and work on serious issues and challenges if it requires my presence …I know I would.

　　However, as I see it at the end of 2007, Intel China is on solid ground, so I feel it a good time to end my career with the company, take a needed break and recharge. Our Corporate Reputation is solid, our business is on the right track and we have sustainable strategies and initiatives in place to Achieve and maintain our Vision of being the No. 1 Technology Company in China.
