美互联网广告局前总裁祝贺分众成功收购好耶

  新浪科技讯 3月1日10时30分消息,针对分众传媒2.25亿美元并购好耶广告网络交易,美国互联网广告局前总裁Greg Stuart向分众发去贺信,认为两家公司具有很大的互补性,并祝贺交易达成。

  今天凌晨,分众宣布以7000万美元现金和价值1.55亿美元的分众传媒普通股收购后者的全部股份。如果在2007年4月1日到2008年3月31日,好耶达到特定收益目标,将再支付价值7500万美元的普通股。

  Dear David,

  I want to congratulate you on the strategic merger you have completed between Focus and Allyes. The synergies between the companies are very smart and you and Jason should both be applauded.

  I think this deal makes a lot of sense for both companies as it extends the office impact of Focus to also reach consumers at home in addition to having a deeper relationship with them at the office. I suspect too there are eventual synergies with the technologies as the Internet goes more video oriented and as Focus has become another major network in China. You are building a comprehensive network for reaching China’s most valuable consumers on behalf of China’s marketers. That is always the best thing a marketer can do.

  In addition, this is truly a combination of great companies, with great teams and great ad products that align with the future of advertising worldwide. Much of what you are doing is in line with some of the best internet companies here, such as the U.S.’s own high-flyers, aQuantive and Advertising.com. Allyes’ business model, your Ad serving technology, and your approach to online marketing is very advanced and well accepted by advertiser in U.S. I would not be surprised that at some point you would want to bring all that to the U.S. to compete here.

  I have known Allyes and you for more than four years, and really thank you and your team’s participation in the development of the IAB’s Global technology and measurement standards four years ago and have appreciated your support of the IAB’s major MIXX conference, expo and award events. You have gained a lot of exposure in the U.S. and I know that most of the major players here know about Allyes

  You are clearly at the leading edge of what is a major market here in the U.S. and China. In the U.S. alone, Online Advertising grew to US$17 billion in 2006 and will likely exceed $20 billion in 2007. All this from just $6 billion in 2002. Plus, superior technology platforms, such as that of Allyes that can handle performance priced advertising including Lead Gen, brand advertising via Rich media and Video plus a platform for marketers monitoring all their activities in one place are the leading edge of what is happening around the world.

  Again, congratulations to you and the team there. You have done a great job building a great business and this only makes your efforts all that much more accelerated. It has been a pleasure to watch you succeed and expect even more in the future.
